Just wanted to send out a note letting you all know that Isabel's appointment for the neurologist and her EEG are on Friday at 9:15 in the morning. Please keep all of us in your thoughts and prayers. We have had no further seizures that I know of (it is possible that she has had them in her sleep, but we have taken necessary precautions for if that does happen or has already happened). Today I heard a thumping in the play room that made me think she was having one--it was very rhythmic (if that is the right word). I rushed in, my heart in my throat, only to find her jumping rope. I had to let out a nervous laugh and it took my heart about 10 minutes to settle back into my chest... I suppose I am just on edge because her apt is approaching so quickly. It's funny because after it happens once you know what to do the second time, but apparently knowing what to do and being prepared mentally and emotionally are two very different things. Anyway, thanks again for your continued thoughts and prayers.
