Great News!

I just called Isabel's neurologist to see if they had received the results for the MRI. They had and the results came back normal. Yay!!! So my worst fear of brain cancer has been alleviated by that! Also that means she has not had any unknown injury to her brain. So this means that she definitely has epilepsy, which we can totally deal with. Right now we continue on the same road we have been on. Meds in the morning and at night and hope for no more seizures. We have another appointment scheduled with her neurologist November 19th. Here we will talk about how she has been adjusting to the meds and if there have been any more seizures. I think he also wants to have blood samples run again too to see if her medicine is making any levels off and if that is the case she will be put on a different anti-seizure prescription. So this is all good news!

Also, we have been approved for the state assistance, so all of these appointments and prescriptions and anything else that she may have to have will be covered for a very low yearly cost to us.
